Stephen Colbert's Battle of Wits Starring Stephen Colbert

You've seen the man, now be the man. Stephen Colbert is America's best reference for its political candidates. His tough questions expose the truthiness of the situation and show all the candidates for what they really are: not legitimate. Play as Stephen in your goal to lower the legitimacy of each candidate by asking the hard questions guaranteed to fluster them. Developed in the 5th annual 48 hour game development contest.

Easy, short, and mindless. Sorry, but this isn't complete. You don't even need to read the questions (although they are funny) because the numbers matter most. Just click the questions with the most negative numbers and you win...the whole game? No levels? No other candidates to interview? Come on! The graphics are great...but that's where my complements end.

48 hour contest necessitates that most games will be incomplete, easy, short, and unfortunately, mindless. We had two other candidates fully worked out (all art done for a third) but didn't have the time to program them in. Another hour would've probably allowed for all of that to be put in, along with proper instruction and story screens. The numbers were meant to be put in as a cheat code to see the game logic for those who found the questions and effects of them confusing, but again, time ran out so we kept in both for players to see.
