Biography

Alex has been designing and programming games since he learned BASIC on his dad's Apple ][ Plus; his first game being a parallel-parking/insurance-scam simulator completed in 1993 (5 years before the first Grand Theft Auto!). During his time at the University of Michigan, he studied many different facets of video games and game technologies. He also has had the fortune to work for three years with renound "Video Game" Professor John Laird on his Haunt 2 project. Alex was president of Wolverine Soft from 2003 to 2004.

Since graduating, he has created a maze-running mod of UT2003 for the Psychology department of Wayne State University. He worked as an internship with Image Space Incorporated in Ann Arbor after graduating. He currently works in San Francisco as a programmer for EA/Maxis.
